Liverpool rocks. I've only been once when I helped a beatles-obsessed Russian friend realize his dream by going to cavern club (and then enjoyed some less touristy places)

Thanks for the writeup - look forward to being there on the Saturday.

I totally agree with Dan. I don't believe you're any more likely to lose your laptop/hubcaps/<insert_worry_here> in Liverpool than in any other major city in the UK.

It's also a good sight more interesting a place than many other cities in the UK.

So come to OggCamp!!!

I'm thinking of coming to OggCamp but I'm worried my car will be stolen...

Nah only messing, it's Dan. I am getting a bit sick of those sorts of enquiries now though. We've come a long way since the 80's I'm pleased to say. It's not perfect but neither is anywhere else. As you saw yesterday Liverpool is very nice these days. The place is unrecognisable down by the docks now. New stadium, Liverpool One and all kinds of cool stuff.

Glad you enjoyed your time in town, it was really nice to catch up. Hope the weather is the same for the next 2 weeks, but losing the volcanic ash would be good so everyone can get here :)

See ya,
